In this presentation Robert Len will discuss bypassing security controls to gain access to critical systems using actual case studies. Robert Len will talk through the steps taken during a penetration test and demonstrate how easy it is to gain access to critical systems and privileged accounts. The presentation will discuss the basic controls that should already be in place to prevent breaches using similar techniques, as well as a practical approach to cybersecurity in general.

Robert Len is Senior Penetration Tester at Mobius Consulting. Robert has extensive experience in various cyber security testing methods including penetration testing, black box external assessments, network testing, Active Directory analysis, web application security testing, social engineering and wireless network testing. Robert assists organisations with detection, prevention and response to hacking through attack vector identification and mitigation, incident response handling, defensive remediation strategies and Red Teaming exercises.

Robert’s is an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OCSP) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
